Schwerpunkte
Die Heidelberg International School bietet für Schülerinnen und Schüler von 4 bis 18 Jahren das Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme und Diploma Programme des International Baccalaureate an. Unterrichtssprache ist Englisch; Deutsch wird auf allen Stufen und Spanisch in den Klassen 6 bis 10 unterrichtet. Forschendes, ganzheitliches und fächerübergreifendes Lernen sowie der Transfer auf reale Fragestellungen prägen den Unterricht.

Lehrkräfte und Betreuung
Ein internationales Kollegium begleitet eine bewusst überschaubare Schulgemeinschaft. Das Wohlbefinden der Schülerinnen und Schüler, persönliche Entwicklung, respektvolle Zusammenarbeit und die Förderung lebenslangen Lernens sind im Curriculum verankert.
Betreuung und Angebote
Der reguläre Schultag dauert von 08:15 bis 15:10 Uhr. Für Grundschulkinder wird an Schultagen eine Nachmittagsbetreuung bis 17:30 Uhr angeboten. Ergänzend gibt es After School Activities für Schülerinnen und Schüler der Primary und Middle School.
